Parisian quintet, Pâle Regard are preparing to release their second EP in the fall. The first single from the EP is “Appel d’air.” With reverb-drench guitar arpeggios and warm synthesizers, the bedroom pop track sounds like Ariel Pink producing the new Real Estate album. Just as it lulls you to contentment, the band blows it up with a noisy psychedelic ending, a little surprise for those who wait.
