Premiere: Pearl Earl “Star In The Sky”

All-female quartet, Pearl Earl are preparing to release their debut, self-titled LP. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the album’s latest single “Star in the Sky.” The five-minute track is not your typical single. There are no vocals until about the two minute mark. The first two minutes sound like a combination of retro-future sci-fi music and prog-rock before breaking into the vocal part of the song. Once the vocals start, there is a bit of a shift in sound. Flute starts playing a more major role which gives it a Jethro Tull-with-female-vocals sound.

“Star in the Sky” joins the already released “Meet Your Maker.” The Denton band’s new album will be out on July 15th via Dreamy Life Records. The band starts their tour this Friday. Check out dates below the songs.
