Hamburg, Germany, post-rock duo Collapse Under The Empire will release their album, Sacrifice & Isolation. The album closes out their two-part concept work, beginning with 2011’s Shoulders & Giants. We at Surviving the Golden Age are pleased to bring you an exclusive stream of the album.
From the first notes of “Sacrifice,” the album builds a pathos of dark dystopia through barren soundscapes, sonic guitars, and live drums. At times, Sacrifice & Isolation feels like Explosions in the Sky with more electronics. Other times, it sounds like listen to The Church without lyrics. It is simultaneously beautiful and dark, a really great album to get lost in.
