Los Angeles duo, Murci are preparing to release their new album, Hearts Gone Cold on January 26th. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere their new single “Pleasure Pressure.” Made up of music producer Curt Barlage and vocalist Pablo Murcia, Murci’s sound mixes late 70s pop and funk with 80s new wave sounds. “Pleasure Pressure” sounds like Prince covering Talk Talk’s “It’s My Life.” With its dramatic piano hits and funk bassline, the track is as sexy as it is danceable. It sounds made for smoke filled warehouse studios of downtown LA.
