Shanghai-based freak-punk band, Round Eye are preparing to release their self-titled album on June 9th. Surviving the Golden Age is pleased to premiere the album’s lead single “City Livin’.” The track’s relentless energy is reminiscent of Peelander Z but Round Eye are a little more artsy sharing disonnent similarities to bands like Pere Ubu or the Fall. If the rest of Round Eye is this energetic, the album could be your soundtrack at the gym for forever.
