This darkly danceable track comes from 22 year-old Veiga Sanchez, reportedly written and produced while crashing on floors across New York, Ibiza and Berlin. The sweet “fuck you” of her lyrics are reminiscent of an early Madonna/Robyn hybrid, which positions her nicely to drop her debut album in 2015 (we hope). Close listening is rewarded by the complexity of her production – each re-entry into Veiga Sanchez’s melancholic atmosphere reveals a new layer of complexity. “If You Let Me Go” is out today via Radikal Records.
