Singer/songwriter, Sarah McGowan‘s latest single, “It Felt Good” sees her take a big step towards produced pop. The combination of layered keyboards and programmed drums under McGowan’s twangy vocals is reminiscent of 1989-era Taylor Swift or Maggie Rogers. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the lyric video for the track.
“It Felt Good” is McGowan’s first release since relocating to Los Angeles from the East coast last year. The visuals of California play a large part in the lyric video from the palm trees and rocky coast to the mountains and inland forests. It gives the song the perfect visuals for the carefree, although finite, love story.
“It Felt Good” will be on McGowan’s upcoming A Little Intimate EP, out June 28th.
