Ever since he was forced to remove all of the content from his soundcloud account, it’s been very difficult for Scott Melker to release music. His latest attempt to take back his soundcloud is the track “Freedom to Go.” Like most of Melker’s output, the track is sample based but instead of pop songs, he is sampling traffic sounds collected over a two day period in San Francisco. Using retuned sounds of truck doors closing for both the snare and the kick drum, “Freedom To Go” is as interesting to listen to as it is catchy.
