Swedish musical collective, The Slytest released its debut EP this past January with the single “Winning Without Playing” rotating heavily on Swedish college radio. The band headed out on a national tour. That itself created the band’s debut album. “The Ego Song” is the first song to surface from the new album. It’s swing-era saxophone sound and regal pop craftsmanship gives the song a feeling of aplomb and dignity while still being catchy as hell.
