Hot on the heels of their debut Good Morning America performance, Sofi Tukker just released their new single “Purple Hat.” Their last single “Swing” heavily featured Sofi singing completely Brazilian Portuguese. “Purple Hat” is more of a Tukker vehicle. With his affected vocals speaking quickly, it reminds me of Daft Punk‘s “Technologic.” That doesn’t mean that Sofi is totally left out. Over a bluesy guitar riff, she sings in English this time.
