Mighty Mouse is flying high with this refreshing re-work of Steely Dan‘s classic “Time Out Of Mind.” As legendary as they are, I still feel like Steely Dan is one of the more underrated bands of all time. They somehow remain in a niche even as they’ve put out classic after classic for over 4 decades. They’re the kings of being nerdy and cool at the same time, and Mighty Mouse highlights all the best aspects of Donald Fagen’s vocals and Walter Becker’s intricate instrumentation with this remix. Hopefully this gem serves as a reminder of their long standing greatness.
