Manchester producer, Swales tries to capture the feeling of New York in the late 80s with his new single, “NYC 1988.” With a classic tech-house beat, a sampled “yeah” vocal and a synth sound reminiscent of Crystal Waters‘ “Gypsy Woman,” the track is definitely a throwback. It might not be specific to the year 1988 but it comes close enough if you’re jonesing for that era.
