It would be easy to compare Swaying Wires to fellow nordbos Of Monsters and Men because they both utilize acoustic instruments and dabble in folk influences but there is something distinctly different about I Left A House Burning. Freak folk influence of artists like Vashti Bunyan gives Swaying Wires an edge. They create songs that range from sparse and haunting to full and joyous. I Left A House Burning runs a gamut of emotions and the listener is just along for the ride.
