Considering the fact that Katy Perry‘s previous singles “TGIF,” “Teenage Dream,” and “California Gurls” were remixed to death, I am surprised at how little I have heard “Wide Awake” squeezed into mashups. TeeTs‘ latest mashup, “Wide Awake for the Finale” is the first I have heard. His one on one mashup finds Madeon‘s electro production working as a perfect backdrop to Perry’s acapella.
