There is a lot going on here geographically. Texas is from Glasgow and their new song is called “Detroit City.” Now I’m not sure how much the Scottish know about Detroit, but I do know that the track does not make any specific mentions of the city’s landmarks, crime rate, etc. That doesn’t stop the track from being an arena-ready track. “Detroit City” features an 80s retro, driving beat overlaid with palm-muted guitars and synths that crescendo with a big chorus.
