Oakland quartet Trails and Ways are back at work since their recent EP Trilingual. Working on a song that will be featured in a future covers album with other Oakland acts, Trails and Ways focused in on Frank Ocean’s “Lost”. They change some of the lyrics to Portuguese and switch the song up to a bossa nova. They say they love the song and always felt it had that bossa feel. From the get-go you get a deep bass drum leading the song. That’s about the heaviest thing in the song, as the vocals are smooth and seductive, with light strings. This song definitely has a Latin dance feel to it.
