New York producer/multi-instrumentalist, Varsity Star just released his new single, “Nightlight.” The track still has the Stranger Things soundtrack aesthetic while mixing in more acoustic instrumentation. The artist explains “recorded this track in several places, using several different pianos, recording rigs, and synths.” He continues “I grew up playing upright bass in acoustic bands, so for me, this track was a kind of throwback to that while still keeping with my current synth-based producing.”
