What does Kylie Minogue really need for her music videos? She doesn’t need a guy who is sexy. She needs something more than that. She needs a guy who can sexercize. Now, I don’t know if you have ever sexercized or not but it is spiritual, ethereal, and flexible. Also, it may include eating sushi, making sculptures out of granite, smoking out of a hookah, and doing laundry.

Karmin “Pulses”
Karmin’s video for “Pulses” starts off like an old black and white movie with opening credits over a symphonic filler. George Takei is credited as the narrator and sure enough his voice booms in as he sets the scene. Scientists in a lab working with a new machine that creates visual manifestations of sounds energy. Unfortunately, it is at this point that the whole old movie concept is dropped and it just becomes a fairly typical music video. Luckily the song is catchy enough to carry the rest of the video.

Against Me! “Black Me Out”
If you want your video to pile up plenty of views on YouTube just label it NSFW like Against Me!‘s new video for “Black Me Out.” Watching the video, it is nearly impossible to figure out what is NSFW about it. The word “fucking” appears written and there is stenciled pissing but that is as graphic as the video gets. Still the stop motion stenciling and shadows make for an interesting watch just don’t expect anything too shocking.

Justin Timberlake “Not A Bad Thing”
The video for Justin Timberlake’s “Not a Bad Thing” is less of a music video and more of a documentary. Apparently, JT got wind of a guy pulling a Say Anything on a Long Island using a Justin Timberlake song. So the documentary is about trying to find this couple and about love. The reason its not much of a music video is because there are drawn out instrumental parts where clips are put in interviewing people about what love is and finding love and such. You end up forgetting there is even a song you’re listening to and you’re just paying attention to the hunt going on. In the end, they don’t even find the couple; it just says “to be continued.” How big of a cock tease is that?!?!

Pigeon John “Champagne On My Shoes”
Pigeon John’s “Champagne On My Shoes” features some booty dancing and champagne popping in the club but the fact that it is all done by puppets is what makes the video interesting. Two puppets meet in the club and have a great night together. The next day is male puppet is trying to play it cool but realizes all he wants to do is see his girl. He calls her and they go to a movie starring none other than Pigeon John sitting on a throne. This might be his lucky day.
