In 1993, A Tribe Called Quest released the track “Award Tour.” Since that time, the track’s line “We on an award tour with Muhammed” has been interpolated by several different sources including Kanye in “The Glory,” K’Naan in “Dreamer,” and Wale in “World Tour.” WC, All City, and Maylay interpolates A Tribe Called Quest’s famous line for the chorus to their new single, “Hood Tour.” They rap: “We on a hood tour with big stacks in my hand.”
