Colorado rapper, Ancient Mith and German producer Dot are the hip-hop group, Yawl. On May 5th, they will release A Pile to Keep, A Pile to Burn on Berlin based label, Anette Records. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the video for the lead single “Woah.” Shot in Chateau Des Évêques, a 14th century castle, in Lavérune, France, the video’s use of color is stunning. The castle’s white rooms are the backdrop for dancers dressed in all black, tangling themselves in red rope. Their hurky-jerky movements mimic the track’s disjointed beat. Its a beautiful abstract video for an esoteric hip hop track.
