British band, The 1975 released the demo version of “The City” as the lead track from the band’s debut Facedown EP. The new definitive version premiered on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show this week as the Hottest Record In The World. The sliding guitars and wall-of-synth drone make for the perfect backdrop for the tracks catchy hook.
