Budapest-born Berlin-based producer and multi-instrumentalist, Àbáse just dropped his sophomore EP, Elevate. The latest single from the album is “Slow It Down.” Featuring the vocal skills of Brooklyn-based rapper, ScienZe and London singer, Emmavie, the track has an jazzy, old school hip-hop vibe. It’s reminiscent of Common and J Dilla‘s “The Light” except Àbáse is playing everything. He lists instruments used as Fender Rhodes, Moog Opus 3, Moog Little Phatty, Micro Korg, percussion, and drums. He does, however, admit he had to call in back up with Fanni Zahar playing flute on the outro.
