San Jose’s Amp Melo is preparing to release his new album, Off The Bench later this year. On the album’s late single, “Better Days,” he teams up with Living Legends‘ The Grouch. The track’s jazzy beat harkens back to the days of A Tribe Called Quest and Digable Planets. Each rapper approached the beat differently with a catchy chorus stitching the two together.
