Band of Horses are preparing to release their new album, Mirage Rock in September. The album’s first single is “Knock Knock,” a suprisingly poppy uptempo number. This does not sound like the same Band of Horses that wrote “The Funeral” or “Is There a Ghost.” It makes me wonder what the new album will sound like.

Yeah, surprising for sure. I can’t say I love this song, but I’ll definitely have to give the album a spin when it comes out.
