Toledo duo, Bliss Nova dropped their single, “Hafta” last month. The synth-pop track was reminiscent of 80s bands like ABC or General Public. Now, the track gets the remix treatment from fellow Ohioan, Rafting and it sounds very NOT 80s. By chopping up the original, Rafting’s remix barely sounds related to Bliss Nova’s original track. The remix is glitchy yet smooth and completely original–a true triumph of modern production.
