When reviewing Brian Lopez’ debut album, Ultra, StGA writer Jeff Caldwell concluded he wish the “album had a little more rock and roll soul.” It seems like Lopez took that sentiment to heart with his new album, Static Noise. Surviving the Golden Age is pleased to premiere album cut “Mercury in Retrograde.” The track takes a much more straight-forward rock ‘n’ roll direction and for that, it ends up being one of the best track’s we have heard from Lopez yet!
