You may know Brittany Allen as an Emmy winning actor who currently can be seen as Popclaw on Amazon’s hit show, The Boys. When not acting, she taught herself music production and as she put it “wrote a TON of songs.” “So Fucking Alone” is the first track off her upcoming debut EP. The dynamic track mixes fairly minimalist verses with an arena sized chorus. The juxtaposition between the sad lyrics but the danceable nature of the track is stark. Allen said “I was in a dark place, in a city I’d grown up in but which I no longer called home, living out of a suitcase, and feeling so angry about the deep loneliness that was hanging around in my heart.”
