Philadelphia band, The Burgeoning are preparing to release their album, Loud Dreams on October 28th. Leading up to the release, the band filmed a bunch of cover songs in the abandoned house they use for band practice. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to share their cover of the Police classic “Message In a Bottle.” I know Guitar Hero would have you believe that the song is simple to play but it is actually one of the Police’s harder tracks to master. The Burgeoning cover it like it ain’t no thing. Lead vocalist, Logan Thierjung shows off his Sting-like range and guitarist Mark Menkevich captures Andy Summers’ iconic guitar riff perfectly.
