Chicago’s California Wives announced a national tour today with fellow Chicagoans My Gold Mask that begins tomorrow in Detroit, Michigan. To celebrate the tour, both bands remixed a track from the other’s album. My Gold Mask reworked California Wives’ “Marianne” into a plodding but triumphant track that reminds me of the Chariots of Fire theme song.
