On November 13th, Carlos Timón will release his new album Solar Rapé. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the video for the album’s lead single “Rose Mary y yo.” With the video happening in multiple squares in the same frame, “Rose Mary y yo” comes together almost as a moving Piet Mondrian painting. Frames of the moon or fire embers fill the screen as Timón’s blend of folk and afro-cuban music emanates. It is another interesting work from director Nacho R. Piedra who has also worked with artists like Xiu Xiu and The Zephyrs.
