Last month, LA-based singer/songwriter/producer charlø released her new single, “numb.” The track mixes elements of bedroom pop and darkwave. The use of talkbox vocals reminds me of Black Moth Super Rainbow but the songwriting is more akin to artists like Phantogram. It is a dark but catchy song even if the lyrics are pretty hard to understand.
