Don Henley‘s classic “The Boys Of Summer” is a song that has been cover ad nauseam. While The Ataris‘ 2003 version is by far the most popular in America, DJ Sammy’s 2002 version was the bigger hit in Europe, reaching #2 on the UK Singles chart. Luckily, Charly Haze‘s version is nothing like either of those. With lush synths and reverb-drenched vocals, the cover slows down the original and gives it a wonderful dream pop feel that you can get lost in.
