London-based artist, CHRISTOPHERSEN recently released her single, “Cannibal.” A fine arts student at Central Saint Martins, the song has an avant-garde pop feel. The instrumental is filled with deep buzzing bass and echoed snare drum. CHRISTOPHERSEN’s vocals feature long, drawn-out syllables that seems to fade in and out giving the track an off-kilter feel. Despite the artsiness of the track, “Cannibal” still manages to be catchy albeit unqiue.
