Brooklyn’s Cigarettes After Sex are preparing to release their second album, Cry on October 25th. The latest single is “Falling In Love.” With sparse percussion and orchestral guitars, the track lilts along with an austere sound that is somewhere between Mazzy Star-esque shoegaze and modern alt-R&B. If “Falling In Love” is any indication, it doesn’t seem like the band is suffering any type of sophomore slump.
