On his new single, “Terrier,” Chrisholm creates a throwback sound that mixes elements of new wave, psychedelia, and early college rock. With the tremolo-drenched guitar arpeggios, pitch-bending synths, and Chrisholm’s shaky voice, the track sounds somewhere between Missing Persons and Pavement.
