New York-based producer, DeModa continues down his path of mixing electronic production with live, more-traditional rock instruments with his new single “Heavy Hearts.” Beginning with shimmering synths a la Usher’s “Love in this Club,” the track quickly explodes with heavy live drums and running subbass. Despite the title, the track is a triumphant anthem. DeModa describes the track as being about “being young, open, adventurous, free, and free to love. It’s kind of like a personal anthem for my life right now. I hope everyone can relate at some point in their life.”
