Santa Clarita rapper/singer, Derek Luh just dropped his new single, “Hoodie.” With a cadence that reminds me of OMC’s “How Bizarre,” the track is about the aftermath of a summer fling where Luh is driving around with his former partner’s hoodie in his car. There is a bit of insouciance in the lyrics but with its shuffling hip hop beat and rhythmic talking vocals, “Hoodie” is nothing to take too lightly.
