The Effens “Pavement Age”

Toronto band, The Effens just release “Pavement Age,” the lead single from their upcoming EP. While the intro sounds similar to U2‘s “Vertigo,” Austin Nops’ fiery vocals are much grittier than anything Bono could muster. As the song develops, you hear elements of pop punk and noise rock coming out in the catchy chorus and Paul Theo’s dissonant synth melodies.
