Australian native, Elodie Gervaise recently released her single, “King of Cups.” The track mixes trap drums, manipulated samples, and Gervaise’s unique vocal approach. It is unclear whether Gervaise is talking or rapping or singing–most likely, it is somewhere in between. The hushed tone in which her vocals are done does give the track a dark, sensual feel which perfectly accompanies the provocative cover art.
