Singer/songwriter, Emily Donohue released her album Melancholia back in June. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the new video for her single “One Night Only.”
Directed by Dylan Randolph, the video features Donohue in a wedding gown stumbling down towards the ocean with dead flowers in her hand. Having visuals gives “I feel so lonely/Another drink/I’m sorry/You can have my body so I’ll feel something” a completely different meaning. As the song reaches its climax, Donohue lays down on shore and the line “better make it last” repeats. It is a haunting video just in time for halloween.
