In April, Factor Chandelier will be releasing his new album, Factoria. The album is named after a failed industrial suburb planned around a series of factories to be built in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in the 1910s. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the video for the album’s opening track, “The Magic City.” Director Stuey Kubrick explores the idea of what Factoria could have been. Through shots of grandiose architecture and subway system, the video’s futuristic feel is matched by Factor Chandelier’s instrumental. The track is reminiscent of artists like Ratatat or RJD2.
