Felix Jaehn‘s already launched into mainstream radio success following his remix of “Cheerleader” while Hitimpulse is a long-time SoundCloud fixture with a string of successful remixes to their name. Now, they combine to create a darker release than you might expect from the two artists. With a mystery vocalist, “Cut The Chord” is layered beautifully over a simple yet melancholic piano lead with a darker and more gritty bass line than you’d expect. It’s always great to see producers try out new sounds and these two guys really nailed it here.
