Doncaster’s Guest Singer are preparing to release their sophomore EP, Limbo Days on February 14th. The album’s latest single is “Think Face.” Sounding like Digital Ash In A Digital Urn-era Bright Eyes mixed with Future Islands, the track mixes 80s synths with emotive vocals and forlorn lyrics. Despite pleas from frontman Jake Cope like “Why can’t we just skip to the part where we all get what we want,” the track’s upbeat sound covers up much of the anguish in the lyrics.
