Premiere: Hariz “Think of Me (Filous remix)”

In a world where pop stars need to be more than just a voice, Hariz is the complete package. He started taking piano lessons at the age of four and wrote his first song at age 12. He now attends CalArts, and his band is comprised of some fellow students. His latest single is “Think of Me” is a mediation on jealousy and heartbreak. Hariz says of the song “it’s two ways—I hope you’re still thinking of me and you’re fucking jealous, but I also hope you’re still thinking of me because I’m thinking of you.”

Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the Filous remix of the track. The original’s alt-R&B vibe and finger-snapped beat gets taken to the club with Filous adding a bouncier beat and acoustic guitars playing a more prominent role. Its a great track to sneak into your end of the summer playlists.
