Drew Danburry‘s band, Icarus Phoenix recently released their album, I Should Have Known the Things You Never Said. The latest single from the LP is its opening track, “The Things You Never Told Me.” As with many of Icarus Phoenix’ offerings, a relatively happy sounding instrumental is juxtaposed with somber lyrics. If you weren’t paying attention, you might just keep tapping your toes while Danburry sings “I walked away from our son and family. I walked away from my whole life.”
