San Diego, CA dream pop band, Inspired & the Sleep recently dropped their single “In My Labyrinth Mind.” Surviving the Golden Age is pleased to premiere the music video for the track. Directed by Lauren Rothery, who most notably did Royksopp‘s “Running To The Sea,” the video was filmed entirely on a Super 8 camera. The grainier film quality and some of the prominent colors in the video gives it a 1970s feel but it is clearly a modern setting. The story seems to be about a boy and girl, once in love but now estranged. It is a hard story to follow but I assume that’s just how it is in a labyrinth mind.
