Although Janelle Monáe‘s The Electric Lady was one of our favorite albums of last year, we didn’t think it had legs into this year. Yet the album’s lead single “Dance Apocalyptic” just got a new official remix from OLUGBENGA. While the remix does give a completely different sound to the song, it also zaps it of a lot of what made it fun. However OLUGBENGA’s production does really let Monae’s vocals be more of the focal point to show what a great performance it truly is.
