Polaris Music Prize nominated rapper, JayWood teams up with blogosphere darlings, tUnE-yArDs for the new single, “BIG TINGS.” As with everything tUnE-yArDs does, the song is pretty experimental. JayWood’s rapping feels almost ambient, lost in the boom-bap drums and psychedelic pop instrumental. The chorus is the real breakout moment. Driving drums and sung vocals make for a catchy hook that anchors the experimentation; it makes it all worth it.
