On November 20th, Johnny Kills will release their debut EP Panic. The latest single from the release is “Editing.” The track is reminiscent of Los Campesinos with its ability to juxtapose tender lyrics with driving guitar rock. Lead singer, Tim Lloyd-Kinnings said “‘Editing’ is about realising that the way that life is slowly shaping in front of you is taking you and your partner in different directions, and worrying that your life plans might not line up with the person you most want to share it with. It’s about acknowledging the strain this can cause both someone you think so much of, and care about deeply, as well as yourself.” While that sounds like a bummer, the catchy chorus balances out the mood wonderfully.
