Kathleen Hanna’s The Julie Ruin are preparing to release their new album Hit Reset on July 8th. The album’s lead single “I Decide” is a mixture of monotone punk, “la-la-la” backing vocals, and sci-fi synths. The angsty track clearly has sociopolitical overtones but that doesn’t stop it from being really catchy.
